Oligarch Status will be decided according to opposition to Bankova- Gerashchenko

Justice Minister Denys Malyuska acknowledged live on air that the so-called “oligarchs bills” was directed against the fifth President and leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko. Iryna Gerashchenko, co-chair of the EU faction, wrote about this on a post on Facebook.

“Shuster’s broadcast yesterday was interesting. Initially, the Secretary of National Security and Defence Council Danilov actually shifted responsibility for the occupation of Crimea and Donbas to Germany and France. Then Malyuska admitted live on air that the so-called law on oligarchs is being directed towards one person – Poroshenko. Forgetting the presumption of innocence, the courts and the Antimonopoly Committee have already issued a verdict. They are imposing on society the opinion that it is not the monopoly in the energy sector, nor the milking of the state budget, but opposition to Bankova that determines the status of an oligarch,” Gerashchenko writes.

“Minister of Justice, Malyuska, instead of conducting a clear legal examination of the government and its presidential bills for compliance with EU norms, distanced the Ukrainian legal system from European common sense,” Gerashchenko said.

“This is the level of legal ignorance that you would see in a graduate from the Faculty of Law of Kryvyi Rih, the University of Zelensky, which this country has been witnessing daily for two years. When at a briefing, he calls people murderers. When foreign policy builds upon this example, this does not lead to a real partnership. These are the attitudes taking over the powers of the executive and regional authorities. The current government is the cumulative product of this stupidity. These ignorant lawyers form Bankova’s team today,” – the People’s Deputy stated.

“Obviously, his promise of one term is the same lie as Zelensky’s and all the others. Obviously, he is beginning to clean up the competitive environment. Instead of building a clear foreign policy, really fighting corruption, or strengthening the army, Zelensky is fighting his opponents. Populism and the desire for full power, full control over the media, without which a second term will be impossible – determine all of Zelensky’s initiatives. As well as the initiative to pour UAH 7 billion into Zelensky University, where the same illiterate Malyuskas will teach. And now a referendum on oligarchs has been announced”, Iryna Gerashchenko writes.

“It is better to put to a referendum the question of whether we are ready to build Belarus in Ukraine, because Lukashenko also once came for one term, on the back of slogans about fighting corruption. And he has been fighting these “enemies” for 27 years,” summed up the co-chair of the European Solidarity faction.
