Our special services should catch enemy saboteurs instead of chasing Chaus – statement of European Solidarity

“European Solidarity” is shocked by the tragedy that occurred to the head of the Belarusian House Vitaliy Shyshov, who was found hanged in Kyiv. We demand from Ukrainian law enforcement officers a detailed, prompt, professional and impartial investigation into this tragedy.

We express our sincerest condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased. Vitaliy Shyshov helped the Belarusian opposition and fought against the Lukashenko regime. It cannot be ruled out that he could have been hunted down by the Belarusian KGB.

We demand that the Ukrainian authorities, who handed over the Wagner agents involved in the abduction of Chaus on the territory of our ally Moldova over to the Belarusian secret services, to investigate, first of all, whether the secret services of another country could have been involved in this tragedy. Instead of caring for the security of the state, the security of citizens, the authorities use our special services to kidnap people and fight the opposition.
