For the first time since 2017, Russian mercenaries used heavy weapons and caused a very serious escalation at the front, firing on peaceful Ukrainian Avdiivka.
In the last few days, we have witnessed ten severely wounded and, unfortunately, we have lost some Ukrainian Heroes.
Against this background, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief has remained silent, which is hardly surprising now, but it is indignant, to not comment on this latest crime of by Russian occupation troops and on our losses…
Therefore, the first artillery shelling of a Ukrainian city on the frontline since 2017 is the result of the cowardly policy of our Supreme Commander, who unilaterally diverted troops from the positions, took reconnaissance drones and counter-sniper groups from the front and forbade retaliatory fire.
Because the war in Zelensky’s head is long over – and he stubbornly continues to ignore reality.
This alone can explain the fact that a Russian strike drone, which the authorities shyly called “of unknown origin”, flew over the Kharkiv region on August 27, unhindered in performing its reconnaissance tasks, and perhaps in preparation of the bombing. Such a violation of the Ukrainian border is, at the very least, a reason to immediately convene the National Security and Defence Council and to coordinate with international allies.
We would like to remind you that Zelensky personally guaranteed the return of Ukrainian units to their previous positions in the event of the slightest violation by the occupiers – obviously this was another lie.
European Solidarity demands that the country’s leadership immediately initiate a Normandy-format video conference and, together with its partners, demand that Putin observe the ceasefire.
Bankova should immediately instruct the convening of a special committee on the deterioration of the security situation in Donbass and allow the commanders of units on the frontline to decide on appropriate fire response to protect the civilian population of the Ukrainian Donbas.
The authorities are also obliged to invest money into immediately installing modern video surveillance systems along the entire line of contact. This will strengthen the security of Ukrainian soldiers.
It is necessary to abolish all senseless restrictions that prevent effective counterattacks against the aggressor and deterrence from attacks on our forces and civilians.
The Ministry of Defence and the Government must immediately pay all arrears to servicemen of the Armed Forces on leave and sick leave. And the 2022 budget should provide for an increase in salaries for the Ukrainian military.
The de-occupation of Crimea and Donbas, as well as the strengthening of sanctions against the aggressor country, should become key topics in the negotiations between Zelensky and Biden.
Vladimir Alexandrovich, come out from the background, in which you are so cosy and comfortable. The enemy is shelling the Ukrainian land, which you very pathetically promised to defend and win back. Then at least tell people something.
