On the instructions of the Zelensky Office, security forces are blocking the political activities of the fifth President and leader of the European Solidarity Party. Petro Poroshenko told reporters about this outside the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR). He stressed that today he planned to announce new initiatives to strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities at the conciliatory board, and it was at this time that the DBR called for a so-called “interrogation.”
“At 11 o’clock, as the leader of European Solidarity, I should be at a meeting of the conciliatory council of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in order to put my bill on amendments to the budget, including a sharp increase in funding for the Armed Forces, on the agenda. It would bring the salary of a Ukrainian soldier to UAH 25,000, frontline soldiers to UAH 50,000, increase funding for the State Defence Order, and give money to local governments to finance territorial defence. Let’s not panic, but a strong Ukraine must have the ability to defend itself, its people, its land,” Petro Poroshenko said.
“There will be a number of other initiatives specifically to achieve this, including a draft law on criminal liability for collaborationism, and including some temporary commissions of inquiry into crimes committed by “Servants of the People”, including for corruption,” Poroshenko stressed.
“Last week I was supposed to be in NATO, in Brussels, to negotiate military aid to Ukraine. The EU Council of Foreign Ministers also took place there, and I had several meetings scheduled with EU foreign ministers to increase financial and defence assistance for the state,” Petro Poroshenko said.
“On Wednesday or Thursday, I was scheduled to be at the front to hand over a defence video surveillance system to the brigades located on the front, in order to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers. All this did not happen, because the DBR and the prosecutor’s office did not respond to my requests to ensure my political activity, they blocked it and at this time they are demanding my interrogation,” Petro Poroshenko said.
“All this was done on the instructions of Zelensky. The perpetrator is the executioner of Maidan Tatarov, whose friends were illegally appointed to the DBR to ensure these political persecutions. It’s all a show. A show in the style of Zelensky, where he tries to divert attention from serious problems in the security of the state, in energy, in the economy, in exchange rate policy, which demonstrate his insignificance,” Poroshenko said.
“We remain responsible politicians. But I’m definitely not going to take part in this show,” the fifth President said.
