Poroshenko brought a humanitarian cargo to Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region: the “Russian peace” leaves behind solid ruins

Petro Poroshenko visited the liberated territories of the Kharkiv region, brought a humanitarian aid to the Dergachy community.

The village of Kozacha Lopan is only three kilometers from the state border with Russia. People lived here under occupation for 7 months, now there is still no light or communication. People received generators, sleeping bags, food and medicine. Locals say that Starlink is badly needed, and they are also asking for an ambulance. They say that it was stolen by the occupiers.

“Kozacha Lopan was occupied on February 24. And there were a total of 4,000 Russian soldiers in this area,” Poroshenko shows the positions of enemy artillery.

“Driving through the village, you feel terrible pain and anger at the same time. The village was one of the first to be occupied by the Russian horde. Occupied and destroyed. There is no communication, no electricity and no gas. “Russian world” leaves behind solid ruins,” – Petro Poroshenko shows the shattered houses.

“Here, as in many other cities and villages of the liberated Kharkiv Region, Russian bastards set up a torture chamber. People were brutally tortured. Interrogations were arranged for ordinary peasants. Apparently, every second villager passed through the “basement”, – noted the fifth President.

“Despite the pain and terrible fatigue, the Ukrainians did not give up. They met Armed Forces of Ukraine with tears in their eyes,” says Poroshenko.

Locals say: the head of the village Lyudmila Vakulenko raised the Ukrainian flag as soon as the Russians fled. The Russian rag that was torn from the building of the village council is still lying underfoot.

From time to time distant explosions are heard in the village, it is fired from Russian territory. The surrounding lands are studded with enemy mines. But people are happy – they say the most important thing is that the Armed Forces banished the occupiers. And although there is no light, there is a traditional loaf from the oven for the guests.

“Now there are literally 1,500 peolpe left in the village, four times less than before the occupation. We brought people generators and sleeping bags for the first time. And we will definitely bring Starlink,” Petro Poroshenko promised.
