Serhii Ilnytskyi (Sokil), a member of the Kyiv City Council from “European Solidarity” was killed in combat in Donbas.
“A great loss for all of us. A friend, member of the Kyiv City Council from the EU, Serhii Ilnytskyi, was killed. He fought for our Ukrainian Donbas since 2014. He died there, in Donbas, near Kurdyumivka,” Petro Poroshenko said on Facebook.
“Comrade Sokil… how come… we had so many plans… Both for the rehabilitation of the wounded and for drones,” Poroshenko wrote.
“Serhii represented the capital with dignity where the heart of Ukraine is beating today… and bleeding,” he added.

Serhii Ilnytskyi was at the front from the very beginning of hostilities.
