Two thousand gifts for the children of soldiers and forced migrants in the front-line regions were prepared by the activists of the NGO “Solidarna Molod'”. Today, the “elf factory” finished packing the last gifts, little helpers, teenagers, and students worked.
And tomorrow bright packages will go to Donetsk region, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia – said Maryna Poroshenko. Traditionally, the Poroshenko Foundation helps young activists collect unique gifts for children every year.
“For five years in a row on winter holidays, the office of “European Solidarity” turns into a festive “factory of elves.” After all, it is here that our youth group – “Solidary Youth” – collects thousands of Christmas #СвятоBox for children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances and those who need our attention and support,” says Maryna Poroshenko.
This year, the activists of “Solidary Youth” created 2,000 Christmas gifts and tomorrow they will take them to the children of IDPs and military personnel in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Druzhkivka and Slov’yansk. I sincerely thank our wonderful youth for this wonderful initiative and wonderful tradition, which every year gives positive emotions, a sense of celebration and joy to thousands of Ukrainian children,” says Maryna Poroshenko.
Deputy of the Kyiv City Council, Head of the NGO “Solidarna Molod” Dinara Gabibullayeva said that this year partners from abroad and Ukrainian benefactors joined the project. “СвятоВох” has been in existence for five years. And every year we give warmth and care to children who really need it,” says Dinara Gabibullayeva.
The uniqueness of the project is that none of the gift boxes is repeated and has a special filling for each child. All gifts are designed according to the age and preferences of children.
