Poroshenko discussed with Bulgarian politicians the strengthening of support for Ukraine and the security of the Black Sea region

Petro Poroshenko, who is participating in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Sofia, discussed increasing aid to Ukraine with Bulgarian politicians.

“The visit to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which is taking place in Bulgaria, has begun. Together with representatives of the sister party, GERB Andrey Kovachev and Daniel Mitov, they discussed ways to strengthen Bulgarian political, economic and military aid to Ukraine for 2024. I thanked Bulgaria for its constant support of Ukraine’s EU and NATO membership course as an integral part of our joint victory over the Russian aggressor,” the fifth President said on social media.

“We also exchanged views on strengthening security in the Black Sea region and joint military-technological cooperation projects, as well as ways to increase the effectiveness of sanctions against the aggressor. I invited the leadership of GERB to pay a visit to Ukraine,” writes Petro Poroshenko.
