Petro Poroshenko, who is participating in the meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Sofia, called on Canadian partners to support Ukraine’s invitation to the Alliance.
“A meeting with the Canadian delegation to NATO took place within the framework of the meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. We discussed the critical situation at the front and the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in repelling Russian aggression,” the fifth President announced on social media.
“I called on Canadian partners to resolutely and courageously support the invitation of our country to join the NATO Treaty at the Washington Summit in July. More weapons, more sanctions, NATO membership are real security guarantees for Ukraine,” Poroshenko emphasizes.
