Poroshenko from Pokrovsk called on the authorities to hand over all military levies and personal income tax funds to the army

Petro Poroshenko, who once again brought a batch of FPV drones and equipment for the military to Pokrovsk, called on the authorities to direct all money from personal income tax and the military levy exclusively to support the Defense Forces.

Poroshenko reminded that the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation began exactly 5 years ago. “It’s time to sum up. From the first months, the Verkhovna Rada became famous for the turbo regime with low-quality draft laws, or those that canceled the reforms that were carried out during our term of office: decentralization, anti-corruption infrastructure, and the Prozoro system for public procurement. The country has been waiting for the ban of the Russian Church for 5 long years,” stated Poroshenko.

“Today, together with the team, we are in the Pokrovsk-Kurakhiv direction,” says the Eurosolidarity leader. He emphasized that the situation near Pokrovsk is extremely tense, and now all resources and efforts must be concentrated to save the city.

“The number one request is strike drones: we need hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of them. Today we are handing over 200 units to the fighters of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Hondzyuk, as well as 3 Maviks and 2 charging stations. Another 205 are handed over to paratroopers from the 46th brigade along with 2 Bluetti stations. Together, these brigades courageously liberated the South in 2022, and now they are defending the Donetsk steppes,” says Petro Poroshenko.

Another 200 FPVs, 3 “Maviks,” 6 KAMAZ tires, and a domed EW brought 16 separate motorized infantry battalions of the 58th Brigade and special forces of the Presidential Brigade: at one time, they held Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

A mobile auto repair workshop was brought to the 150th intelligence unit. Another container workshop was given to the 7th Army Rapid Response Corps, which includes amphibious assault and airborne brigades. More than 200 FPV drones, 6 Maviks, power and communication equipment, and 5 ATVs for evacuating the wounded were also sent to the military.

“Of course, Kursk is very important. Certainly, other directions are very important. But I can say that the fate of these months is decided today in Pokrovsk. And everything depends on whether our military will be provided for or not,” Poroshenko said. “I would very much like to have here, next to me, the representatives of the Social and Economic Development Committee, which a few months ago took funds from local budgets, and reported back and put only 40%,” Petro Poroshenko noted.

“We ask you to return the funds immediately. The entire amount of the military levy and personal income tax from the military must be credited to the accounts of the units. Who will quickly buy “Maviks”, FPV, heavy drones, reconnaissance equipment, EW equipment,” says the fifth President.

He was also indignant at the lack of necessary fortifications in the direction of Pokrovsk: “The enemy should have been stopped dozens of kilometers from Pokrovsk. Stopped by fortifications, which are not here either. Withdrawal of personal income tax from local communities was ineffective. The construction of fortifications was irregular.”

“I call: now is the time to finally demonstrate unity because the country is in danger. We will win. But we must stop losing people. We must stop losing Ukrainian land. And we must stop wasting time. By uniting, creating a coalition of national unity in the parliament and a government of national unity, we will save Ukraine, defeat the enemy, and develop our state,” Poroshenko is convinced.
