Poroshenko on TVP World called for the lifting of restrictions on long-range strikes: Russia has missiles from Iran and North Korea, they must be destroyed on enemy territory

On the air of the Polish TV channel TVP World, Petro Poroshenko called on the Western partners to cancel the restrictions for Ukraine on the use of long-range missiles on the territory of the aggressor state. He noted that after receiving information about the supply of North Korean and Iranian weapons to Russia, Ukraine has every right to destroy enemy bases, arsenals, and other military facilities on Russian territory.

“We are still waiting for a very important, vital decision from the United States and from Germany to authorize our forces to use long-range missiles for legitimate purposes on the territory of Russia. And the Taurus, these are German very modern, very effective missiles. I cannot understand why the Ukrainian military, which protects civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine, cannot destroy legal objects on the territory of Russia,” says Poroshenko.

“For example, we now have information about North Korean artillery shells, North Korean and Iranian missiles, and we cannot destroy them immediately when we receive this information,” the fifth President noted.

“This is our joint war, and Ukraine’s victory is clearly in the interests of the Free World. I think that Russia is not accidentally using North Korean artillery shells, North Korean soldiers, or Iranian attack drones. In this situation, we want to count on our partners,” says Petro Poroshenko.

“Another thing that is vitally important for us is an invitation to NATO. Without the invitation of Ukraine to NATO, there will be no stable security situation on the continent. Without Ukraine’s membership in NATO, there will be no victory,” Poroshenko believes.

“However, along with this invitation, we should not compromise on the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. No compromise regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine. No compromises on the army’s ability to protect Ukrainian territory and security in Europe. No compromise on sanctions. We must curtail Putin’s ability to finance war. And no compromise about any blackmail by Putin, so as not to allow closing the door of NATO to Ukraine,” Poroshenko emphasizes.
