Petro Poroshenko handed over to the military another complex of countermeasures against technical intelligence “Ai-Petri SV”, which will cover critical infrastructure facilities. Poroshenko noted that this is a new milestone in the supply of “Ai-Petri” to the troops.

As the military briefly explains, “Ai-Petri” helps to detect and jam the signals of enemy UAVs. “After the shelling, in the report from the Air Force, you can read: the enemy attacked Ukraine with a certain number of drones: some of them were destroyed, and the rest were lost in location. And when you read “locationally lost”, know that our “Ai-Petri” complexes are included in this,” adds Poroshenko.

“Each time we hand over 3-4 Ai-Petri complexes to our counter-intelligence units at a time. Today – only one. But it is with him that we begin a new milestone in the supply of “Ai-Petri” to the army. The purpose of this complex will be to cover critical energy infrastructure facilities and the military-industrial complex,” explains the fifth President.
“Of course, we cannot say where and what exactly they will cover up. But we plan that eventually “Ai-Petri” will be located throughout the country, where there is a critically important industry and energy facilities,” Poroshenko notes.

In November of last year, Petro Poroshenko announced the investment of UAH 150 million in the development of the newest system for countering technical intelligence, which was later named “Ai-Petri SV”. Currently, the financing of the project has exceeded 200 million hryvnias, and dozens of complexes have already been transferred to the front.
“It’s not only and not so much REB. This is cyber security, which has unique properties, developed by specialists of our team – programmers and engineers. Today, there is nothing like this in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nor the enemy. But we have already established serial production. In this very short period, we passed all kinds of tests of the General Staff and put it into service. It was officially accepted,” Poroshenko said.
He also explained why he decided to invest in this development. “I had no other choice because I had not seen anything like this among all the developments. I invested in R&D when we didn’t have any model that worked effectively. But I believe in our team, I believe in programmers, I believe in engineers. And I believe in the unique skill of those crews who are now using this cyber defense directly on the collision course,” says Poroshenko.
