Petro Poroshenko congratulated Maia Sandu on her victory in the presidential elections in Moldova.
“Warm congratulations to Maia Sandu on an overwhelming victory! We in Ukraine carefully watched the course of the campaign and sincerely cheered for the choice of the Moldovan people. Now choice is made — in favor of European integration and true values. It is a choice in favor of human rights and the rule of law, democracy, and freedom. On this path, we are partners, allies, and, most importantly, friends,” the fifth President wrote on social networks.
“No amount of Russian influence, disinformation or manipulation, threats, and blackmail can change our chosen goal. Together for membership in the EU! Together to victory!” – writes Petro Poroshenko.
