“European Solidarity”: the authorities that provoked the parliamentary crisis are now responsible for the possible disruption of Ukraine’s European integration

Today, the collaboration of “Servants” and the OPZZH, with 6 votes in favor, at the Rules Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, adopted an illegal decision to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to suspend the leader of the pro-European opposition Petro Poroshenko from participating in one plenary session. Which, according to the decision of the “servants” under martial law, lasts throughout the entire session.

“Servants” and the OPZZH want to deprive the opposition leader of the right to deputy activity, to speak from the parliamentary rostrum, to vote and discuss draft laws from February to August 2025.

This is another example of cooperation between the “Servants of the People” and the OPZH in making the most shameful decisions in this convocation of parliament. It was the “servants” and the Servants of the People who supported the closed work of the Verkhovna Rada banned the broadcast of plenary sessions, and tolerated political censorship.

It is noteworthy that the presence of the OPZZH representatives in the hall does not bother the authorities; the leadership of the Servants of the People has repeatedly called the OPZZH its reliable partner.

The authorities are also not oppressed by more than 30 “servants” of the people, against whom criminal proceedings are being conducted. Yesterday’s wedding photographers, the unemployed, and entertainers have acquired wealth during their time in power, the nature of which they cannot explain to anti-corruption agencies.

Corrupt deputies are not expelled from the hall on suspicion; they are completely satisfied with the majority.

The leadership of the SoP and the parliament refuses to submit to the regulatory committee draft laws and resolutions of the “EU” on the deprivation of mandates of deputies of banned factions, although back in 2022 we registered the corresponding initiatives on the deprivation of the OPZZH from the right to participate in meetings.

SoP deputies stated that Petro Poroshenko and “European Solidarity” are their “enemies”.

The enemies of the government are the democratic opposition, Ukrainian generals, and decentralization, not the “fifth column” of the Kremlin and Putin.

We see a large-scale campaign to discredit “European Solidarity” and our leader, community leaders, and the military. This is happening at a time of aggravation of the situation on the front when it is critically important to unite around the Armed Forces of Ukraine and consolidate efforts for international support and strengthening the country’s defense capabilities. However, the government has focused on political persecution and upcoming elections, instead of dealing with issues of war.

It is very difficult in the Pokrovs’kyi, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy directions; the units are critically short of FPV drones, radio-electronic warfare systems, weapons, and equipment.

The authorities, instead of taking up direct duties of providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, provoked scandals and cannot forgive Poroshenko for his assistance to the Army. After all, the scandal in the Verkhovna Rada arose precisely because of the words of deputy Yaremenko, who reproached the Fifth President for helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is not Poroshenko who is afraid of the Verkhovna Rada — it is Zelensky who is afraid of it. He remains the only president of Ukraine who does not contact the parliament: in six years he has held only two meetings with the leaders of parliamentary factions.

The Servant of the People and the OPZZH have unleashed a large-scale parliamentary crisis in a warring country, while the Verkhovna Rada should focus on supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, strengthening interparliamentary diplomacy, and consolidating efforts at the international level. But the Servant of the People has other plans: not to defend the country, but to fight the opposition.

Today, the Servant of the People and the OPZZH have taken personal responsibility for disrupting Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration. After all, in the next six months, a negotiation cluster on the foundations of accession to the EU should be opened. It provides that a candidate country must comply with the key principles of the European Union: the independence of the parliament, freedom of speech, and the rights of the opposition. These principles are being destroyed literally every day.

From now on, the Office of the President, which coordinated the voting of the members of the regulatory committee from the Servant of the People and the OPZZH, bears personal responsibility for the possible disruption of Ukraine’s European integration process.
