Petro Poroshenko congratulated the democratic choice of the Hungarian people and the victory of the “Tisza” party and its leader, Péter Magyar. As is known, the “Tisza” party, like “European Solidarity,” is part of the European People’s Party political family.
“It was a very competitive, dramatic, emotional, and dynamic campaign that made many sincerely worry about its progress. The choice has been made, so it is time to lower the heat of election rhetoric and return to pragmatic work in the interests of the state, citizens, and Europe,” the leader of “European Solidarity” wrote on social media.
“In Ukraine, we would like to see Hungary as a good friend, an important partner, and a reliable neighbor. Ultimately, our common future is in the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance. And so it shall be!” the fifth President emphasized.
